EcoFlow’s RAPID Pro Desktop Charger packs 320W of GaN charging into a box about the size of a coffee mug, with two USB-C ports that each deliver up to 140W, enough to fast-charge two MacBook Pros at once. According to EcoFlow’s product page, it has four USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a magnetic pogo-pin dock on top for EcoFlow’s RAPID Pro power banks, for six charging points in all. EcoFlow’s Amazon listing says the dock recharges a RAPID Pro 27k power bank to 80% in 20 minutes. EcoFlow’s U.S. store listed it at $189.99 on October 17, 2026, though it showed as sold out that day. Here’s what it does and who it’s for.

The port layout, explained
The five front ports are tiered, so it helps to know which device goes where.
| Port | Max | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| USB-C1 | 140W | 16-inch laptop that supports 140W charging |
| USB-C2 | 140W | Second laptop, or a 140W power bank by cable |
| USB-C3 | 65W | 13–14 inch laptop, tablet, handheld game console |
| USB-C4 | 30W | Phone |
| USB-A | 30W | Older phone, earbuds, watch charger |
EcoFlow’s FAQ notes that only C1 and C2 support 140W. If a laptop won’t reach full speed, it suggests checking that you’re on one of those ports, that the device supports the same fast-charging protocol, that it isn’t too warm, and that its battery isn’t nearly full, since devices slow down as they approach 100%.
ChargerLAB’s teardown photos of the label show C1 and C2 reaching 28V at 5A, which is the USB Power Delivery 3.1 extended power range that 140W laptops use. Its tester also found C1 supports PD 3.1, PPS and QC4.
What 320W covers
All six charging points share the 320W total. A few realistic combinations, using each device’s typical maximum charging rate (estimates):
| Setup | Approximate draw | Within 320W? |
|---|---|---|
| Two 16-inch laptops at 140W + phone at 30W | About 310W | Yes |
| One 140W laptop + 65W tablet + two phones | About 265W | Yes |
| Laptop, tablet, phone, earbuds, watch | About 200–250W | Yes |
| Two laptops + RAPID Pro power bank on the dock | More than 320W | Shared; some devices slow down |
In practice, devices rarely pull their peak for long. A laptop near full charge, or one that’s simply running, draws far less, which leaves more headroom for the rest.
The pogo-pin dock
The magnetic connector on top is what sets this charger apart. Set a compatible power bank on it and it charges without a cable, at up to 320W. EcoFlow lists compatibility with the RAPID Pro X 27k, RAPID Pro 27k and RAPID Pro 20k power banks only. Its Amazon listing says the dock takes the RAPID Pro 27k to 80% in 20 minutes.
That turns the charger into a home base for your power bank: drop it on the dock at your desk, grab it on the way out. Our RAPID Pro power bank review covers that power bank, and our RAPID Pro X vs Anker Prime comparison covers the X model.
Screen and app
The LCD shows each port’s output and the total in real time. ChargerLAB describes a 3.02-inch display with a clock mode and idle animations, controlled by a rotary knob on the side that also presses to select.
In the EcoFlow app, connected over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, EcoFlow says you’ll be able to turn on Smart Power Mode, which shares power between ports by demand within the 320W limit, or set each port’s output manually. EcoFlow marks both features as “coming soon,” so check the app for the current status. EcoFlow also recommends updating the firmware through the app after unboxing. To pair it, the FAQ says to open Settings, then Wi-Fi & BLE on the charger’s screen, turn it on, and add the device in the app.
One quirk EcoFlow explains up front: the app’s readings may differ slightly from the screen, because the charger reports to the cloud at intervals.
Build and safety
- GaN power stage: gallium nitride parts let chargers run efficiently in a small box. ChargerLAB’s teardown found GaN transistors in both main power stages.
- Fire-rated housing: EcoFlow lists a V0 fire rating for the shell.
- Drop resistance: rated for drops from 76cm, roughly desk height.
- Temperature monitoring: EcoFlow advertises “10 million daily temperature tests” and multiple built-in protections.
EcoFlow’s FAQ says the surface can get warm under high output and advises not touching it directly then. Give it some open air on the desk rather than burying it under papers.
In the box
ChargerLAB’s unboxing shows the charger, a power cord with a two-prong plug and C7 connector, and a user manual. No USB-C cables are included in that photo, so plan to use your own 240W-rated (or 140W-capable) cables for the 140W ports. A cable not rated for 5A will cap a laptop’s charging speed.
Choosing cables for each port
A charger can only deliver what the cable allows. USB-C cables come in a few common ratings:
| Cable rating | Carries up to | Use it on |
|---|---|---|
| 60W (3A) | 60W | C4, USB-C phones and earbuds |
| 100W (5A) | 100W | C3 and most laptops |
| 240W (5A, EPR) | 240W | C1 and C2 for 140W laptops |
Look for “240W” or “USB PD 3.1 EPR” on the packaging for the two top ports. A 100W cable works on C1 or C2 but caps the laptop at 100W.
Setting it up on your desk
- Place it where air can flow, with the ports facing you and the knob reachable on the side.
- Plug in the power cord to the C7 socket on the back and a wall outlet or surge protector.
- Assign ports by device: big laptops on C1 and C2, a small laptop or tablet on C3, phones on C4 and USB-A.
- Pair the app through Settings, then Wi-Fi & BLE on the screen, and update the firmware.
- Use the dock as your power bank’s parking spot so it’s always topped up.
Watching the screen for a day is a quick way to learn what your devices really draw. Many people find their laptops pull much less than their rated maximum most of the time.
One charger vs a pile of bricks
Replacing separate chargers with one hub has practical benefits beyond a tidier desk. You use one outlet instead of four or five, you can see every device’s draw on one screen, and you only carry one charger when you travel. The trade-off is that if the hub is unplugged, everything stops charging, and its 320W is shared rather than dedicated to each device. For most desks, the convenience wins.
Who it’s for
- Two-laptop households or desks: two full-speed 140W ports is the headline.
- RAPID Pro power bank owners: the dock is the fastest way to recharge one.
- Travelers with lots of gear: one plug charges a laptop, tablet, phone and earbuds at hotel desks. At under 2 lb, though, it’s more desk charger than pocket charger.
- Anyone tidying cables: one charger replaces several bricks.
If you only charge a phone and one small laptop, a smaller 100W charger will do. For charging on the go, see our best power banks for travel.
FAQ
How many devices can it charge at once?
Six: five through the front ports and one RAPID Pro power bank on the pogo-pin dock.
Can it charge two MacBook Pros at full speed?
Yes, on C1 and C2, which each deliver up to 140W, as long as you use 140W-capable cables.
Does the dock work with other power banks?
No. EcoFlow lists the RAPID Pro X 27k, RAPID Pro 27k and RAPID Pro 20k only. Other power banks can charge from the USB-C ports.
How fast does the dock charge a RAPID Pro 27k?
EcoFlow’s Amazon listing says 80% in 20 minutes.
Does it need the app?
No. It works plug-and-play, but EcoFlow recommends the app for firmware updates and, once available, power settings.
Bottom line
The RAPID Pro Desktop Charger is a powerful desk hub: 320W total, two 140W USB-C ports, a live display and a magnetic dock that fast-charges EcoFlow’s RAPID Pro power banks. It makes the most sense if you run two laptops or own a RAPID Pro power bank. Pair it with good 5A cables and it can replace a drawer full of chargers.
