How much does the EcoFlow Delta 3 Max weigh, how big is it, and what do all those spec-sheet numbers mean in practice? This page collects every Delta 3 Max spec from EcoFlow’s US product page and manual in one place, then explains the ones that trip buyers up: the weight, the port layout, the solar window and the X-Boost figure.

Testing note: Specs below are EcoFlow’s published US figures unless marked otherwise. Our ports tour and carry-test videos are scheduled; we’ll embed them here when they’re live.
EcoFlow Delta 3 Max Weight and Size
- Weight: 20.3 kg, or 44.8 lb
- Dimensions: 494 × 239 × 305 mm, or 19.4 × 9.4 × 12 in (L × W × H)
- Handles: two, one at each end
That’s light for a 2kWh station with a 2,400W inverter. In our competitor table, the Anker SOLIX F2000 weighs 67.2 lb, the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus 61.5 lb and the BLUETTI AC200L 62.4 lb. Owners still describe it as “hefty, but not unbearable.” In practice it’s a two-handed carry from the car to the campsite, not something you’ll want to haul far. Lift with your legs, and if stairs are involved, a second person or a small hand truck helps.
Battery and Output Specs
| Spec | EcoFlow Delta 3 Max (US) |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 2,048Wh, 51.2V 40Ah |
| Chemistry | LFP (LiFePO4), cell-to-chassis build |
| AC outlets | 4 × 120V 60Hz, pure sine wave, 20A max per port |
| AC output | 2,400W total continuous |
| Surge | 4,800W |
| X-Boost | 3,400W (US) for heating loads |
| USB-C | 1 × 100W, plus 2 × 30W sharing 30W total |
| USB-A | 1 × 18W |
| 12V car socket | 12.6V 10A (126W), on the back |
| UPS switchover | Under 10ms |
| Noise | 25dB or less at 600W (EcoFlow, measured at 1 m) |
What X-Boost Really Means
The Amazon bullet says “3400W Continuous X-Boost,” which confuses buyers. Per the manual, X-Boost lowers the output voltage so resistive heating devices (kettles, heaters) can run above 2,400W at reduced power. It isn’t extra inverter capacity, it isn’t meant for motors or sensitive electronics, and it’s unavailable during AC charging or pass-through. We demonstrate it in our X-Boost and app settings guide.
Charging and Input Specs
| Input | Spec |
|---|---|
| AC charging | 100–120V, 15A, up to 1,800W; 0–80% in 68 min (X-Stream on) |
| AC pass-through | 15A for up to 3 hours, 12A continuous |
| Solar | 1 × XT60i, 11–60V, 13A, 500W max |
| Solar limits (manual) | Total Voc 60V or less, Isc 18A or less |
| Car | 12/24V, 8A through the XT60i port |
| Alternator | EcoFlow 500W Alternator Charger (XT60) |
| Generator | Any generator’s AC output; EcoFlow Smart Generator 3000/4000 (Dual Fuel) listed as compatible for charging |
Two details matter here. First, the solar and car inputs share the single XT60i port, so you can’t use both at once. Second, an Amazon reviewer reports that a plain XT60 cable (without the “i”) limits car charging to 12V at 8A. Our solar setup guide shows which panel combinations stay under 60V and 18A.
Expansion
None. EcoFlow’s tech sheet lists “Max Capacity with Extra Battery: N/A.” The Delta 3 Max has no extra-battery port. If you need expansion, see our expandability guide.
Operating Temperatures
- Charging: 0–45°C (32–113°F)
- Discharging: −10–45°C (14–113°F)
Below freezing, the unit can still power your gear, but it won’t accept a charge. For winter camping, keep it in a warm vehicle or tent vestibule overnight before you plug in solar.
App and Connectivity
Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. The app controls Storm Guard, TOU and Self-Powered modes, scheduled tasks, charge and discharge limits, AC timeout, X-Boost, Output Port Memory, bypass disable, adjustable charge speed and energy statistics.
Warranty and Certifications
3 years standard, plus 2 extra years when you register in the app, for 5 years total. EMC Class B.
In the Box
The power station, an AC charging cable, the user manual and the warranty card. There’s no solar cable and no car-charging cable, so budget for an MC4-to-XT60i solar cable and an XT60i car cable if you need them. EcoFlow panels usually ship with a solar cable, but check each listing.
